I didn’t realize how good of a choice Megan’s black outfit was until I got home to edit. I’m so incredibly glad we stayed through the heat until it was just a few seconds from storming on us. I’m obsessed with the contrast between her clothes, the moody blue/gray sky and the bright colors of the fair. Thank you, Megan!

Serena was the winner of a giveaway I hosted on my Facebook page. I know of her from church events and it was great to meet another one of the church youth one-on-one. I was also incredibly lucky that Serena was a natural model. 👑

My sleep schedule still has not recovered from this event, but I have no regrets. 

Thank you for letting me be a part of your community year after year. I do this with the hope that my photos help you all remember how amazing this community makes us all feel once we go home and the “jesus high” fades.

Please don’t put filters on my photos. I know it’s tempting, but I spend about 8 hours editing an event like this, tweaking them until they’re just how I like them. (Cropping and b&w is fair game.)
